The United States of America has excluded Nigeria and 17 other countries as beneficiaries of its Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery for 2025.
Recall in 2022, the US opened the applications for the registration process of the DV programme for the fiscal year 2025.

For the DV2025 programme, individuals from countries who have sent more than 50,000 of their nationals to the United States in the past five years are ineligible to apply.
